Hi supporters,

The project is progressing steadily, with editing and art coming together for the core zines while the guest games head towards their final drafts. kat's Tand Fe will be used as a finished template for the others as we want consistency throughout the project. 

We have brought Carly A-F into the team for interior spot art to go alongside Josh's mixed media pieces. We feel the two styles will be really complimentary. Talking of new art, here are the cover details for Gabriel and Tomas' zines.

Hi,

Just a quick update on the status of GAST!

Today was the first deadline for the zine writers and we're delighted to reveal that everyone has completed the first drafts of their Carta games. The next milestone is for final drafts on Halloween, at which point we'll pass them over to Sebastian and Penny for editing. In the meantime Josh will be completing the new covers and starting on the interior designs.

The team is also looking at suitable manufacturers outside of China. We'll keep you updated on this as we go, but if there's anything to slow the project down, it's likely to be this.

Finally, Jolene completed the soundtrack (cover below), which you can use for GAST or any horror RPG you're playing right now. We'll have a link for you at the end of next week with some new cover reveals.

Hello backers,

Apologies for the lack of updates. All writers - including our four guests -  are currently hard at work on the zines and we’re expecting drafts to be completed by the middle of August. Josh Arklin will be completing the remaining covers over the next few weeks, which will form the main content of our August update. Jolene is also composing the ambient soundtrack, which we’ll share a sample of when ready.
Unfortunately we’ve found most manufacturers only take on 1,000 minimum orders for box sets, but we have narrowed it down to a couple who offer a more reasonable scope for our first project.
The next update will be at the start of August with the final zines hopefully completed in time for Halloween.

Thank you so much for making GAST and Hatched Games a reality! We managed to unlock all but the final stretch goal, but we’ll strive to still fulfil this depending how we go with pre-orders.
